I’ve been stranded in a cabin in the wilderness with my two gorgeous but damaged stepbrothers, and my overprotective stepfather.

We’ve crossed boundaries that in normal society would never be traversed, and now we can never go back to what we were.

We thought the biggest threat to our lives was Mother Nature.

We were wrong.

In desperation, we tried to reach safety, but a new danger has emerged.

Now we’ve been taken by gun-runners who know who we are.

They force us to play their games for their own entertainment while they try to figure out what to do with us.

The relationships that saved our lives are being tested to the extreme.

They’re trying to break us, but we won’t give up.

Not when we have each other.

“I think he should fuck her for us,” Smith continues with a smirk. “Eat his little stepdaughter’s pussy, and then fuck her ass for us. Then afterward, maybe we get a go.”

“No!” Reed yells, clambering to his feet.

I get up as well, and Reed grabs hold of me, angling his body in front of mine to protect me from them. I cling right back at him.

Zeke lifts his gun to remind Reed what they’re holding over us. “Don’t make any stupid choices, old man. If we tell you to fuck her, then you fuck her.”

The muzzle of the gun feels endless, the black hole at the tip a vortex we could fall down and never be found.

“Come here, both of you,” Smith commands.

Reed’s grip on me tightens. “I said leave her alone.”

I’m terrified he’s going to end up shot, or that one of the men will shoot Cade or Darius to make a point. We don’t have any choice but to do what they want. As terrible as it might be, at least we’ll all still be alive.

“We have to do what they want,” I tell him. “It’ll be okay.”

He shakes his head. “No, it’s not. It’s not even fucking close to okay.”

“If you hurt them,” Darius says, “you can kiss every cent goodbye. Lay one finger on Laney, and the deal is off.”

Smith chuckles. “We haven’t decided yet if it’s worth keeping you alive long enough to get your money, and anyway, we’re not talking about hurting anyone.” He gives a smirk. “The opposite, in fact.”

“I’d like to watch a father fuck his daughter,” Zeke says.

“We’re not even related,” I tell him. His perverted little fantasy won’t come true. “We didn’t even know each other before the plane crash. Whatever it is you’re trying to do, it won’t work.”

Zeke grabs his crotch. “What I’m trying to do? I’m trying to get off, sweetheart, that’s what. Now, you can either put on a show for us, or you can get me off yourself.”

I draw a breath. The decision between fucking this stranger and fucking Reed isn’t a hard one. I don’t want to do it in front of these men, but I can’t see we’re being given much choice.

I lean into Reed’s solid body. “We need to do as he says. I’d rather it’s you than him.”

Reed turns and drops his forehead to my shoulder. “Fuck, Laney. How can I do that to you? Not in front of them.”

I glance at the gun. “We don’t have any choice.”
